The Eastern Phoebe built a nest on the down spout of the gutter outside our bedroom. She laid 4 eggs and one morning we spotted little heads popping up. Then we discovered that mom & dad were both helping to feed the babies. We watched them get bigger and bigger. And then on the 4th of July they were gone.
